It had a great soundtrack, colorful atmosphere and the King at his very best.
Cheesy, yes, but good ole 60's cheese. Girl, girl, happy, don't you know..I would rate this about 6.8, but maybe it's just me.

I rate movies that I love a 10 and this is definitely a 10. Great cast, great songs, funny, fun, Shelley Fabares in sexy outfits. What more could you want from a movie.

This is my very favorite Elvis movie and it was on Encore tonight. I rated it a 9, probably should rated it 10. It always brings back good memories, great cast, cute clothing, loved the 60s. Elvis looked great, as did most everyone else in the show.

I love the movie as well. I thought the songs were the best set of songs he ever did in a movie. Blue Hawaii also had wonderful songs.
I watch Girl Happy each time it comes on tv. It's a smart, funny movie with a great cast. All three films he did with Shelley Fabares are my favorites. There chemistry together is so wonderful to watch. The movies have such a good flow and good feel to them.
Well, in the four years since the original post it has moved up to a 6.3 rating now.
Maybe like Elvis' songs it will keep moving up the charts!
