I totally agree this movie is amazing.

99% of the time a hero is someone who is too cold, tired & hungry to give a damn.

Damn straight!

Are you guys joking? Even Russ Meyer would laugh if someone called his work a masterpiece.

I belive for a woman's screen test, someone came out and measured her breast. Whoever had the largest, got the job.

That's how all casting should be.

Anybody can act. Half the time people complain about 'poor acting' it boggles my mind. Poor acting is hard to come, for me at least. I grew up watching low budget Horror films. It has it's own charm in a way, they feel more like real, believable people instead of charismatic play-actors. Poor acting is a myth. I rarely have issue with acting performances and I rarely see someone deliver a stellar performance that it demands attention.

Listen, as a Woman you can either;
1. Be a stellar actor.
2. Be very sexually attractive.

Being both is redundant.

Gal Gadot gets slammed by some for her 'poor acting'. She could be the most talented actress in the world and it wouldn't make a difference. It would be a waste of acting talent even, let some plain jane have those chops to deliver for those few demanding roles where you need notable acting skills.

I agree it's an exploitation masterpiece. I've seen some lame exploitation stuff but this is Grindhouse cinema at its finest. I loved it.

it is a "masterpiece"...of trashy cinema :-)
and what could be trashier than to give one or more actress roles to the woman with the biggest breasts? especially as this was positively a fetish of meyer's. the man was even more gaga for "grapefruits" than i am! (l.o.l.) "beyond the valley of the dolls," anyone?
i had heard and read a lot about this film before catching it on t.c.m. - of all places! - last night. my expectations were high. and, they weren't disappointed. every once and awhile you can believe the hype.
i'm still trying to decide which was the most outrageous scene; but i know i love the bustweeds title song (right from the first bars!)
these are the real girls your mother warned you about! (l.o.l.)
surprised this movie hasn't been colorized yet. turner was villified for that a few years back.

to assist you in your inquiry about not 'getting it', I can only quote Edie Massey from 'FEMALE TROUBLE'
"I'd be so proud if you was a f_g"
I realize this doesn't help, but how often does on get to use this quote?

- - "Watch what you say or they'll be calling you a Radical, Liberal..
Fanatical, Criminal"
