well, atleast it's in Quinton's hands

If I had my way, this wouldn't be remade. I hate remakes of movies that don't need to be remade. However, everything is going to be remade, so if it's going to be done, atleast let it be done right. 90% of the remakes that have come out in the past couple years have been complete shi*. And it has a bad effect on the original for me. The main problem with remaking horror movies, or small cult films is that the grittiness is gone. These hollywood makeovers are just to ........Hollywood, and it loses it's appeal that it had before. So the question isn;t WHY anymore, it's WHO. Who will direct the remake, and honestly, as far as FPKK, if someones going to do this, Quinten is the only one I'd want to have it. You know he will respect it to the fullest, you don't even have to question that. I think the only other director that I would feel comfotable with it, is Robert Rodriquez, but Quinten is my first choice. If this actually happens, I think he will do it right. Apparently he has been talking to some porn stars to be the leads, so he obviously isn't going the hollywood route. Again, i'd rather this be left alone, but the Studio would have done this anyway, with or without Quinten, so be happy that it's Quinten.

Quinten? Quinton? LOL. I didn't read it because you didn't spell it right.

You elitist little C^nt. I bet your a blast to be around. You didn;t even have to post that shi&,. Come here so I can put something in your mouth.

I said with respect that you have to write well Quentin's name. You probably didn't have a decent education in your home; you won't have luck in life being like that, writing badly and treating persons like this just for correcting you. Getting so angry with someone in the Internet just for that is maybe a big reason to GET A LIFE. Anyway. I agree with your first post.

Way to make an assumption. You are a winner. You have been following me all morning, yet you are telling me to get a life. Good luck to you. Now leave me alone.

Kids, don't make me pull this thread over! However, Tarantino will lose me if he continues with his idea of casting Britney Spears as Varla. If she's in this, Spears should be Linda or possibly Billie.

Hey Man,

She IS correct, though. It is Q-U-E-N-T-I-N. Why so serious, starving, and illiterate?

Just kidding; I have no way of knowing if you're either serious or starving. Get it?! Ha!

Quentin isn't going to read this list, so there is no need for the OP to keep sucking Tarantino's cock. He made his whole career stealing from other movies, that isn't "respecting" it.

^^^^ Times a hundred.

The most insipid and overrated film maker of all time, whose entire schtick consists of stealing from true pioneers in film, and then adding his own pretentious film-school writing class bloated dialog to impress his pals at the coffee house.

I know this FPKK production has been in talks for a while so I'm hoping he won't even go through with it. But that doesn't deplete the damage already done.
The blatant theft of sound effects from Master of the Flying Guillotine and the entire score for Badlands taken for True Romance. 😢

Tarantino definitely read the IMDb comments. You fools don't know how it works. IMDb had clout.

It's still not official if this movie is going to be remade. And after all, why should it? It's perfect as it is and it is far from a 'classic blockbuster' movie from the past.

Oh, and his name is 'Quentin' not 'Quinten'....

In Quentin's hands, this film will surely become a contrived, poorly written, piece of $hit, because he has no talent. I recently found out he dropped out of high school, never went to film school, and sucked countless cocks (including Jennifer Beals) to get where he is today. Before anybody goes off on a tangent about school not being important, I ask this question, did you even pass high school? According to IMDb trivia, he has a 160 I.Q., which is impressive for someone with no divisible talent, or consideration for the filmmakers and the films he steals from. I believe you have to pay your dues in film school, not just work at a video store and systematically absorb portions of cinematic genres which you find fascinating. The term Grindhouse was not created by this hack, for christ sake it was a powerful genre when he was still a little Tennessee turd-nugget. Hollywood, and Fanboys give him too much credit, which has resulted in Inglorious Basterds (his must frivolous venture into the cinematic upheaval of German filmmaking).

Last post 2009. The remake idea of this died with the Barbarella remake w/ Rose McGowen. Whew.
We're safe for now folks. Right?

Quentin Tarantino, who is not only
WELL past his sell-by date but who
has also been increasingly revealed as than less than what pop culture initially thought he was, essentially a cinematic Pop Tart or Big Mac🤮, has NEVER been comfortable with sex in his movies, nor, probably, anywhere else. It is ludicrous to compare this walking castration with Russ Meyer.
