Was Willard really a Payton? Was he the illegitimate son of Donna's grandfather?
shareWillard was the chauffeur, not related in any way as far as I can tell. If he was the illegitimate son of Donna's grandfather as you propose, it certainly wouldn't have been mentioned in a family movie.
But I agree, he was the best choice for her given the situation.
that's what I was waiting for the whole movie-at the end something would show
that Willard was indeed one of the uncles,and Donna could legally choose him.
or
when they walked off into the sunset,it would be without the 30 million,because
she didn't meet the requirements of the will,as she didn't pick an uncle....
