Brilliant framing device, mediocre stories.

I love the framing device of the movie, but sadly the stories themselves only range from decent to mediocre. I think the Amicus Omnibus films with the best overall mix of framing device and story are The Torture Garden and Asylum, although Tales From the Crypt has the strongest overall set of stories.
