One of Peter Cushing's best...

Peter Cushing + Bela Lugosi impression = Too cool for words

Just bought this as part of an Amicus box-set and found myself thoroughly enjoying it. A great, fun horror movie which zips along at a jolly good pace (as you might expect, with 5 stories in just 93 minutes)

But, as a Cushing fan, his performance was probably the film's greatest joy (Lee and Gough's interaction was good, too)


"Have you not guessed?" is one of my new favourite line-deliveries of all time (even if I did have to 'rewind' the DVD to figure out that he didn't say "Have you not gazed?")
