Creeping Vine

Reminded me very much of the Avengers episode The Man Eater of Surrey Green. I thought most of the Avengers episodes were fairly original, but that particular one aired in December 1965, whereas Dr Terror premiered in February 1965. They both may well have been filmed around the same time, and it may just be an interesting coincidence. On the other hand perhaps one of the writers did actually borrow the idea from the other.
