Perfect Drive-in Movie

I saw this flic yrs.ago at one and it is ideal for that venue;

creepiness a'bounding,Cushing does his dependable job playing Shreck,the Tarot
card dealer,who knows more than he is credited for !

The whole idea of riding the nite train w\these ill-fated 5 passengers is enough to give me a fresh dose of tingley goose bumples !

The tales are consistently good and having Chris Lee aboard always helps...along w\a young Donald Sutherland.

All in all,a good scary movie in which your young date wishes to squeeze your arm a little harder !

Agree. My least favourite story is 'Vampire' with Donald Sutherland but I still liked it and enjoyed it.

Agreed,some stories were stronger than the others:Werewolf and the tale of Voodoo stand out;however,the end is perfect as all 5 passengers meet their FATE

Agree. Fun for all!

The Voodoo episode is really growing on me with the music and mood.

Lots of Mood for sure ~~~

Yes, this was a very fun movie. The one about the voodoo drums and the one about the art critic were my favorites. My least favorite would have to be the one with the vine, but none of them were really bad. All in all I am glad I watched this movie and look forward to watching it again soon.

I didn't see this at a drive-in but as a midnight movie at an old theater back in the early 70s. Great stuff but unfortunately the theater is long gone.

Voodoo segment was really quite effective;

Chris Lee & M.Gough make an unbeatable duo in the art critic tale(creepsville)...

reply

Agreed. This film is quite enjoyable, with a nice spooky atmosphere and a few neat grim twists in the various individual stories.

I've been chasing grace/ But grace ain't easy to find
