watch it if you can. billy mumy was so cute and jimmy stewart was....well...jimmy stewart. fun film!

Its one of those films that the whole family can sit down and watch. something that is lacking today.

I agree that it is a family movie. I loved watching Glynnis Johns in this movie, as well as Jimmy Stewart. All the casting was perfect. Jesse White the bookie - great!

I hadn't seen it in at least 30 years (saw it in the 60s too), and DVR'd it last weekend. Just watched it and loved it all over again :-)

"Adorable" was the word that came to mind as I was watching.

Oh, and not realizing he was in it, I spotted the 24/25 year-old James Brolin in his scene.

I just did the very same thing. Hadn't seen the movie for a long time (not quite as long as 30 years though - Ha!), and noticed it was scheduled to air just over a week ago on FXM. I DVR'd it and watched it the other night. Sweet film overall.
