Why I watched this film

I watched it to see the young Brigitte Bardot. She is old now - what a treat to see her youthful!

I watched it to see Jimmy Stewart! The cutest boy ever!

At first, I just watched the scene with Jimmy Stewart and Billy Mumy at Brigitte Bardot's house (which is on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQBFTJpWKEg ).

Then I decided to watch the whole movie (which it turns out is also on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w24szJbxwv0 )

I love the whole story! A father trying to figure out what his son is good at... then having to deal with what that son's talent turns out to be (I won't spoil the plot for you)... and then how Brigitte Bardot comes into the story. Plus it's set in 1965, when big social changes (from youth activism to nuclear energy were hot topics).

Great movie! Highly recommended!

Johns and Stewart were nicely paired in "No Highway in the Sky" in 1951, so it was great to see them together again.

I watched it to see the beautiful Glynnis John. I was not disappointed in that respect, otherwise, a pretty dull movie.
