Groovy Score

This movie's score is a great example of fun, kitschy 1960's film scores. It signals right from the start that this is a most playful and atypical film for Costa-Gavras. Also, he must be a great guy who made friends easily, because it seems like 70% of France's well-known actors are in this, the first film he directed! I was fascinated also by the incredible resemblance of Catherine Allegret and her mother, Simone Signoret. They are both extremely good here; in fact, everybody does well.
