Who Was the Next Victim?

It's been awhile since I've seen this one, so am I right in thinking that the young woman who catches Stamp's eye just at the end -- I think she was dressed as a nurse -- was Susan George? Steve.

reply

Clegg's next victim was a nurse he fell in love with when he was recovering from Miranda's attack. The point the book makes was the chilling discovery that Clegg;s pathology has moved from obsession to vice.

reply

Was she played by Susan George? Steve.

reply

In the book he sees a girl who looks like Miranda that he sees when he goes into town after Miranda dies that I think he wants to have her.

reply

No.

Allyson Ames.

I was sondering about the Allyson Ames thing. THe IMDB has her listed as "first victim". Shouldn't that be "Next victim"?

Maybe she is considered the "first victim" because to Clegg, Miranda was never a victim, she was a guest.

reply

imdb list a first victim and a next victim, obviously try to mess things up.

no real victim ..

1,Allyson Ames ...First Victim (uncredited). miranda's classmate? or non-exist

2, Samantha Eggar ...Miranda Grey .actually a "victim", but not a direct victim by Freddie Clegg. more a victim of herself or the situation.

3,Edina Ronay ...Nurse / Next Victim (uncredited) . this is the girl at the last who Clegg refers as an ordinary one who if captured, will not react like Miranda ,so will be less a "victim" than Miranda..

reply

there is no victim!!!stamp is not a "villain" .. and the girl at the end is someone who is ordinary and who he wants an ordinary relationship with...

no first or next victim....
