If I ever wanted to learn about Stockholm syndrome?

This is where I could learn about it's back-firing effects.

Why do you think Miranda develops Stockholm Syndrome? She loathes Ferdinand more than ever at the end of the story; she simply finds it in her heart to forgive him because she's a compassionate person who realises that her last dying days should not be spent negatively.

Death is a stripping away of all that is not you. The secret of life is to die before you die — and find that there is no death.

I meant that if she had lived longer and if he had succeeded in making her love him then there is an example of what Stockholm syndrome is like. In my opinion though if Miranda did start to love Freddie it wouldn't have been a natuaral loving feelings. It was enforced.
