Yep, she was bustin' his balls..and nastily too, telling Lancey how the other guy "died slow...first a kidney, then his gall bladder, then his stomach..."

But Lancey earlier in his side conversations with the Kid busted HIS balls...these little side scenes during "breaks in the game" show us how these folks keep "playing the game" even when the cards aren't on the table. Psychological warfare...gamesmanship.
I am getting old and I have a friend who, when he hears someone has died, has to ask how old they were. If the dead guy was older than my friend, he is slightly relieved; younger, not so much.
