New Website Dedicated To This Movie

Because I am insane, I have started a fansite for this movie. I have loved The Christmas That Almost Wasn't ever since I first saw it, and I wanted to make something for it. I'd like to include a history section when I get the time; but for now I just wanted to launch the site. At least I beat Christmas. ;)

Dude, One of my earliest childhood memories is seeing this movie in the theaters. I loved it. I must have gone back 10 times to see it again. Your awesome for starting this site.

thank you! I have also loved this film for many years and just now ordered the CD soundtrack. (I have the DVD already.) Looking forward to your site's offerings.

You will LOVE the soundtrack. I know I do. ;)

New for this year on the site will be the original pressbook circulated to moviehouses to promote the film. I should have it posted soon.

I just picked up the soundtrack today in my mail. I LOVE IT! It's so charming and fun. I know the film was shot with no live sound, so must be the soundtrack was also recorded minus the vocals on the songs with them. In some ways this is nice because if you want to sing them you can. (Unfortunately many of them are not in my key otherwise I would, LOL!)

Now all I need to do is add vocal versions of the songs to my own custom CD of this courtesy of my DVD and it'll be complete.

I to saw this movie when I was a young kid and have rented it twice now. The theme song is forever etched in my memory. I also enjoyed watching Paul tripp as the host of Birthday House in the early 1960s.
