Paul Tripp hosted TV kids' shows 1949-59 & 1963-67.

The lead actor Paul Tripp hosted TV kids' shows in the U.S. from 1949-59, did movie/TV acting from 1959-63 and hosted one final TV kid show that I remember after I was born 1963-67. The show I remember him from was "Birthday House," broadcast locally on WNBC Channel 4 in New York Monday-Saturday mornings. I don't remember when I began watching it but from what I remember I used to watch him and his show every morning until it was cancelled in 1967. I also remember him from TV ads of the movie "The Christmas That Almost Wasn't" in which he sings "Why can't we have a Merry Christmas/Each and every day?" and his lines when he unexpectedly runs into Santa Claus before Christmas in which Santa informs him that Christmas isn't coming that year.
