Chappaqua Suite by Ornette Coleman is better than the film...
Conrad Rooks, the director of this film, comissioned Ornette Coleman to do a soundtrack for the film. For various reasons, Conrad decided not to use it, but allowed Ornette to release it on his own. The album was called Chappaqua Suite. It was a double album with four parts, each part sprawled over one side of the album. It's my favorite of Ornette's works.
I never liked the film, but the album was one of the best things to happen because of it.
