I couldn't understand what they were saying.

This film is very highly rated, but I couldn't really enjoy it because I couldn't understand what they were saying. If the DVD had subtitles, that would have helped. Another poster talked of problems with the soundtrack. Perhaps that was part of my problem.

And when I did understand the words they were saying I had difficulty understanding the meaning because the dialogue is (or course) all Shakespeare. Odds Bodkins!
