I saw the first half of this movie.

And since it is an actual movie and is actually on IMDB I just assumed there would be a thread on the message board about why this movie should or shouldn't be on the Top 250. There was no such thread. (Cut to...)

People love crappy movies... how does "Kill Bill" make the TOP 250 and BBB doesn't. The masses will flock to any Hollywood formulaic POS that some untalented idiot director puts out. Come on guys WE NEED TO FIX THIS.

I think it's all about being contemporary. You're probably not going to find too many films from the 1960's in the top 250. As I have navigated this board over the past several months, I have noticed that the majority of the posters seem to be under the age of 21, so it's doubtful that a lot of them have ever heard of BEACH BLANKET BINGO let alone seen it.

yeah i agree with you! mostly on Kill Bill making the top 250!! that right there completly befuddles me.

No denying that Kill Bill is an awful movie though, that's a universal truth.

Kill Bill is much better than this mindless drivel. BBB is full of trite stereotypes, forced punch lines, laughable dancing, and hackneyed writing. If the IMDB scale is logarithmic, then KB's 8 is 1000 times better than BBB's 5.

The bikinis are cool though, as is the surfing.
