Bombing Scene

I thought that that whole ten minute strech where three women where planting the bombs was one of the most suspensfull parts ive ever seen in a movie. i think this is even more impressive considering the age of the film(not to say that older films cant do suspense, but a majority mess it up somehow like with music or camera movement, etc.)

100% agreed. not only one of the most suspenseful parts of a movie... but generally one of hte best 10 minutes i have ever seen on film.

That was truly a fantastic bit of film. The fact that the terrorists 'stagger' the timing of the bombs makes the effect even more terrifying. This was something that hadn't occured to me. After checking around on the web, I found out that this is how some of the bombs are set in Iraq.

That was a great scene. Really tense, great buildup. One of my favorite parts of this excellent movie.

Isn't it amazing what a great film maker can do with sets, actors, lighting, timing, writing, and NO CGI. It reminds me of the chase scene from "Bullitt." Two cars, a camera, close ups and long shots, and well timed shots. A brilliant suspenseful sequence. Car chases today use CGI and lots and lots of quick cuts. They are at best exciting. But they are generally not suspenseful.
