An artist friend owed me a painting I did what the Pope did ...

... it worked.

I went to my friend/artist's house (now deceased) and took the mostly completed 36" x 24" painting of "Henry Hudson's Final Voyage" under my arm and said I would get it finished by another source. (It had been several years at that point.)

He countered that he would not sign it. I said fine. He finished it, finally.

"It's the system, Lara. People will be different after the Revolution."
