Hopefully word will spread about this which is certainly one of the best foreign war films I`ve come across. Memorable characters(Wilsdorf in particular),action sequences that totally convince,brilliantly directed and photographed.The Director was an Army cameraman in the conflict and also made "Dien Bien Phu" in 1992 which is almost impossible to find with English subs.Would be very appreciated if these two films were widely available.

I can only hope this means there might be a dvd release in the future (but I'm not holding my breath).
This film is in the same cinema league as Battle of Algiers (believe it or not), and makes me really want to see more of the director's work.
