watching the dvds,some good episodes some poor ones.
I don't really remember this the first time around,too young ,but was impressed by some repeats I saw a few years ago.
So I bought the dvd set and am watching it.
Once I get past the fact that all the studio scenes remind us of THE SAINT and all the other shows of that era I am struck by the plots and how they often reflect real spy stories of that age.
For example we have a Russian spy pretending to be a Canadian,who has a radio in their suburban house (KROGERS)and a single naval clerk spying for the Russians (VASSAL.although he is not of course shown as gay).
