JUST BOUGHT THE FIRST BOX SET - 1969 SERIES

I had to post a message here to promote this superb series.

I stumbled across it on Amazon by chance and was impressed that every box set has 5 stars.

Well now I have watched it I can see why. For a programme that is 40 years old it is remarkably fresh - and totally absorbing.

Now I know why British television and British actors used to be the envy of the World.

Can't wait to purchase the further series and watch the lot. I'm still in black and white with the 1969 series -though the programmes have been digitally remastered and look and sounds superb.
