I watched it a few years ago and I thought it was fun.

I agree. Thought this was a great show. Jerry Van Dyke made this show, and never got his due for his talent. He was a very funny man but more the stand up comedian to his brother's slap stick comedy, good looks and acting talent. At 28 episodes it lasted longer than many. Not near so bad as it's made out to be. Why is anything which has a message how to interact better with people (and ourseves) considered crap. I think that's why this series is panned.

Compared to today's reality crap, this was brilliant programing.

Reality TV just has bad timing. It seems evertime it comes on, I have to catch the porcelain bus.

I loved this show when was first on (I was 9). I had already developed a love for old cars and to have show with one as the main character-heaven on earth. Has anyone even seen it since it went off in 66? I've never seen it in syndication, TVL or anywhere.
