I met many people who saw this TV shows.

I met one Iranian in 40's who saw this TV show when he was kid in Iran.
I met one Thai Man who also saw this TV show when he was a kid in Thai.
I met one American in 40's who saw this TV show when he was a kid in the US.

I should have asked more.
But it was amazing, it seems this TV show was exported to all over the world.

I'm an American in his 40s who watched it as a kid. I recently saw it again and I must say it wasn't nearly as good as I remember.

I have fond memories of this show.

Do yourself a favor and don't watch it again. Keep those nice memories intact.

I too remember being a young girl in the U.S. and watching Kimba the White Lion on TV. I can still vividly remember Kimba running through the jungle. Funny how something as simple as a cartoon can stick in your head as well as your heart. I guess the fact that it was exported all over the world serves to reveal how well it was received from children all over.

I loved this show as a kid in the early 70's...and honestly I still enjoy it as an adult. Yes it may not seem as good as it was when you were a kid, but such is the same for any cartoon that you have not seen for a long time.Sort of like going on the big roller coaster as a little kid and being thrilled out of your mind...then going on years later as an adult...yes it's fun but not the most scary or thrilling. However I appreciate the storylines that I never picked up on as a kid, not to mention the depth of the characters. Some time ago I played an episode for a friend of mine who had never seen it...she grew up on Smurfs and My Little Pony...she actually enjoyed the Kimba episode.
