Coming to DVD in Sept. 2008!

VCI Entertainment will release all 30 episodes on a 4 disc set on Sept. 2, 2008. No price given at this time.

Amazon.com has the price set at 27.99. It also says that the "pilot" for "Honey West" from Burke's Law will be included on the set.

Amazon also says the release date is July 29th, which is weird because TVshowsondvd.com said Sept 02.

EDIT:

Amazon has now changed the release date on their sight to September 02. I just got an e-mail from them, because I had already ordered it, saying that the release date had changed.

The price has changed to 29.99, too, but because I ordered it when it was 27.99, I'll still get it at that price because of Amazon's price guarantee unless it drops lower than that before the release date.

This is great news.

I'm glad the show is finally being released in a boxed set.

I have already requested my library buy it. They have been getting some old tv shows that are not anywhere near the significance of Honey West.

Or is it just me having nostalgia? I don't think so. John Varley references
Honey West, the spin off of Burke's Law, in one of his science fiction novels called The Barbie Murders. From the perspective of the 70's when Varley was writing, HW was projected to be fascinating 'antique television' in a Varley-imagined future.

I am glad I've seen that future arrive.

I'm currently watching it to review for the Amazon Vine Program. The restoration looks and sounds great (although it's not a box set--just a four-DVD release with no hard-copy extras, slip-case, or the like). I loved this show when I was a kid and it's still a hoot--very much worth owning (REALLY cool commercials as extras).
BTW, sorry but Reese Witherspoon is a dishrag compared to Miss Frances.
Incidentally, whoever posted that the episode of Burke's law from which Honey West "spun off" is included in this set is mistaken. It's not only not included but Amazon doesn't claim that it is either.

Hi I know I'm nearly 4 years late, but just yesterday I got the series and mine does have the 'Burkes Law' episode featuring Honey West in it.
Then again it is 4 years later maybe they decided to throw it in.
