Am I the Only One That Saw This Scene? (Solved)

Back in the late 60s, I was watching Get Smart and saw the following scene.
I think it was one of the 4th season episodes (The Impossible Mission?) with Dr. Simon, the stripper/CONTROL scientist.
In it, Max and the Chief are talking to Dr. Simon backstage as she's doing a strip routine. At the end, she takes off her bra and we see her breasts briefly. The breasts are very obviously not real. You can see the outline of the vinyl/plastic/latex stuck to the actress's body. I've been watching the DVD sets and I didn't see this scene, but possibly, an alternate take with her still wearing the bra.
I was living in W. Germany until Sept. '69 and I wonder if this was an alternate take, shot for the European market? I possibly saw it on the Armed Forces Network. Or was it shown only one time in the US?
Or am I confused?

It's all like some bad movie.

As a teenager going through puberty at the time of Get Smart and also a fan of this show and Agent 99 I think I would remember an episode with this scene.

I don't, but I hope I'm proven wrong and that it does exist!!!!

PLEASE!!!

reply

The scene does exist, except the episode was The Groovy Guru, and it was Dr. Steele (Ellen Weston), not Dr. Simon. And she was wearing a body suit, so you don't actually see her breasts. This scene was cut from many syndicated versions of the episode, but it is intact on the DVD.

I've got the 3rd season set on reserve from the local library. I'll post back when I've seen it and can confirm. Thanks for the info.

Yep, that was it. I think what fooled me into thinking it was a fake boob set was the combination of a less than great, broadcast quality picture and those early teen hormones. Made me think the body stocking was vinyl. Ah, well.
Thanks, Hariseldon.
