Worst Kept Secret

I have only watched DOOL off and on for the last six/maybe seven months simply because I'm not really a soap fan since I get too bored with those ridiculous storylines but the latest thing is the absolute worst kept secret storyline (if I'm correct) is that I believe that Melinda Trask is actually Haley Chen's mother. Can it be more obvious?

What happened to those days gone by where you actually had some shocking secrets, not the ones that even a five year old can spot 500 feet away?
