Make that 100% I want Tripp to stay and I want his mother the one and only Ava Vitali back.

As for Steve finding anything disturbing on Tripp, it's more disturbing that he with his own hands choked a mentally ill woman, then had sex with her.
As for what will happen to Kayla, I would love for Tripp to take the whole Johnson clan to task for their lies. Yeah, that's a good way to start a relationship with the boy. None of the Johnsons are innocent. Joey murdered a woman in a hospital bed. Steve covered it up and strangled and had sex with a mentally ill woman. And Kayla covered up for both. They all deserve to be taken to task by Tripp for what was done to Ava.

I don't care what Carlivati has said or hasn't said. And I don't care that Joey was abducted. My grievance with this show has to do with the fact that there was never ever any explanation for Ava's being back to being psychotic after she left in August 2008. It was as if we were supposed to just accept it and move on with the new storyline. There are asshats on other boards who are trying to say that Ava raped Steve and that Steve's constant choking of her was "nothing"!
I also could care less how long Steve and Kayla have been with the show. They used to be my favourite couple, but now they're completely disgusting since they have lied to Tripp about his mother's murder. In essence, Steve is lying to the son of the woman he detests in order to protect the one he had with the woman he loves. For someone who didn't want to become his father, Steve has become his father. Tripp is Steve's comeuppance for lying about Ava's cold blooded murder. I could give a squat about how Steve or Kayla come out of this. I truly hope Ava is alive and well and comes back with a vengeance, because any and all hellfire and damnation she would reign down on them is deserved.
I want Steve and Kayla and Joey to suffer. They deserve it after how they've lied to Tripp about his mother. The way they've treated mental illness on this show is abysmal. This has nothing whatsoever to do with Bo or Will's deaths, or with Caroline. This has to do with Ava's cold blooded murder and a coverup.
I would like to see all of that brought out at least. As crazy as Ava was she is still Tripp's mother and I would have a very hard time dealing with what happened if I was him. There is alot of grey area here that would be interesting if handled correctly.
shareMy only problem is that Ava has been painted in such broad strokes as far as her conduct, there has been no consideration given to what happened to her at the hands of her father, then a doctor who was giving her drugs to make her crazy, then cousins who didn't question Martino's reasons for drugging her up, and finally no reason given for her being out of control on her December 2015 return, when she was clear and sane in August 2008.
shareI hope she comes back. Maybe, new writer will handle her and everything else better. DOOL sank as low as it ever has been but appears to be coming out of it.
