Western Version Of The Fugitive?

I don't remember any of the edisodes, but I do remember the Legendary beginning and that Jason McCord sounds a little like Lucas McCain.

I would not compare Branded to The Fugitive exactly. The Jason McCord character wasn't on the run from the law as Richard Kimble was on The Fugitive.McCord had his trial & was court-martialled & then dismissed from the army.Nobody was hunting him down,so he was free to roam wherever he wanted to go.

Yes, I see similarities between Branded and The Fugitive, too. The lead character in both series is falsely convicted of a crime he did not commit. He stays on the move, drifting from town to town. Series creator Larry Cohen had previously written for The Fugitive. Later, Cohen created The Invaders, starring Roy Thinnes, which also has many parallels with The Fugitive.

I think there were quite a few shows that followed the story structure of The Fugitive. The Incredible Hulk, and an old favourite, but short lived was The Immortal to name just two more. I'm sure there are plenty more with the 'drifter' arriving in town, saving the day, and then moving on in search of his/her goal... What about The Littlest Hobo?

Branded is one of those shows from my childhood that stays in my memory only for the credits and intro. Couldn't tell you about a single episode. Probably like many of those shows. Top intros... The Rifleman, Maverick...

I agree!

Reminds of when MAD did a satire. At the end McCord says there was this one armed Indian, Suddenly Richard Kimble shows up and tells McCord to forget it, he tried using that story but it didn't work.
