'Golden' Anniversary Re-release.

I have read in past very few days that this fine film will be re-released very soon, 50 years after its making.

Chief Mangosuthu Buthelezi has given an interview to a British newspaper saying he remembers the making of the film well, and praised it for showing the bravery of both sides.

He also remarked that items belonging to Ceteshwayo, now in a museum in Brecon, Wales, should be returned to South Africa. Whilst I feel not all items should be returned, for the sole reason this would set a precedent for other artefacts to be returned to other countries, and museums worldwide would be part emptied! However, it would be honourable and a grand gesture by the Military Museum in question if they would seriously consider returning some of the items to the Zulu Nation in kwaZulu, South Africa.

There are now three BluRay releases: the original UK (2008),
Zulu (Twilight Time Limited Edition) http://www.amazon.com/Zulu-Twilight-Time-Limited-Blu-ray/dp/B00HGGUPC4 / (Jan), and
Zulu (50th Anniversary Edition) (May 5) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zulu-Anniversary-Blu-ray-Stanley-Baker/dp/B00I D50V8K/.
I found no reviews of last one. Is it a new remastering?

There is also today's 50th anniversary screening with Prince Harry!

Yes indeed. Have newly seen the press photos of Prince Harry, and HRH had admitted he likes to catch this excellent movie every Christmas holiday period!
