Serio-comedy, Val's Tragic Home Life

It's a comedy and a good one. However, it is difficult to not be distracted by Val's a** h*** parents. It would be a miracle for her to grow up reasonably normal with parents like that.

I should have watched longer. It looks like dad figures it out and looks out for Val. Of course, Mr. Cunningham would be an ideal dad, close to Sheriff Andy Taylor. Meanwhile, the mother of the Manchurian Candidate (I forget her name in that) could be expected to be an evil mother.

I need to work harder to keep from mixing up characters and the actors who play them. Too many movies and too much television. I blame society.
