Why was Connery so unhappy with this film?
I read in an interview Connery gave around the time of Thunderball that he was very unhappy with Woman of Straw. He was very dismissive of the film.
On the Goldfinger DVD there's an on-set interview with Connery where the interviewer mentions Woman of Straw but Connery quickly moves onto talking about Marnie instead
I can't see what his issue was because I enjoyed Woman of Straw, it was much better than I expected it to be and I think it’s definitely a better film than Marnie.
