I agree with you 100%. After Pinky hits it big, he is hilarious. Also hilarious is Larry Flint's (Paul Newman) rant (before he hits it big) about selling his art.
I love how Louisa's materialistic mother (the great Margaret Dumont) literally throws her daughter at the richest guy in town:
How dare you turn down a man like Leonard Crawley! I tell you he has MONEY - you go and get it!!
