I met Anthony Quinn!!

Ok, I'm just showing off here, but I just tuned in this movie and wanted to relate that I met Anthony Quinn just a few months before he passed away. We were at Mall of America in Minnesota, and he was sitting under the "Funnel Cake and Dippin' Dots" sign in the amusement park. He was watching his kids climb the climbing wall that they have there. I barelled up to him with my special needs child, and he was SO unbelievably nice and gracious. He even shook my little boys hand and talked to him! He was a great actor, and from what I saw, a very nice person. MJ :D

When I was a college student in the 1970's at UCLA which is located in an area of Los Angeles called "Westwood," one of the favorite restaurants there was MARIO's ..... Quinn and a lady friend, both in their tennis whites, were having lunch there when a bunch of us came in to celebrate a birthday.

We recognized him and applauded and he gave us a big grin. He then came to our table and sang "Happy Birthday" to our friend who was BEAMING!
