You can now get this movie on DVD!

The NY Film Annex has routed their 'prints' to be available for sale via amazon!!

It's been available for well over a year through Facets video. I bought a copy, and would describe it as adequate. The image quality is okay although jittery on occasion, the subtitles are clear and legible, and there's no extras.

Rumor has it on the Godard mailing list a version from Japan will be released at some point in the not too distant future.

O.K., but the NYFA has only 16 mm. prints. Also, it was released in Japan. I saw it there in 2004.

They have a DVD version, too. I own it. You can get it through Facets Video or Movies Unlimited.

I meant that the NYFA never owned 35 mm. prints, so that if they did the transfer to DVD, it was from an inferior 16 mm. print.
