I saw Tintin et les oranges blueues (Tintin and the Blue Oranges) in a Paris theater in 1964, when I was 10. I don't remember much about it, but I'm pretty sure it was animated, unlike Tintin et le Mystere de la Toison D'Or, which I never saw.

Tintin et les Oranges bleues was a live action film starring Jean-Pierre Talbot who also played Tintin in Tintin et le Mystère de la Toison d'or. It plays on television here (Montreal) every Christmas and I can guarantee that it is live-action, having seen it about a dozen times.
You are probably thinking of Tintin et le Temple du Soleil (1969) or Tintin et le lac aux requins (1972) both of which are animated.
