Blu-ray already!

It's quite amazing what digital restoration can do give proper source and care, and since low-budget silent movies can look quite amazing on blu-ray, I'm pretty sure finding a quality copy of the just 50yo Woman in the Dunes won't be a problem. This is a title that deserves to look at it's finest, so please, Criterion or any other company, let's get on with it! Of course we wouldn't mind getting the whole Teshigahara collection or Kobayashi's Human Condition set, but first things first... give 'Dunes' a high-def look!

Yeah, please!
It's a shame that most of Korine's films, Zulawski's films and Teshigahara's films and a lot more aren't available on Blu-ray.

There's a 720p version on iTunes that looks pretty good. Watched it today. Great film.
