Not a Horror Film
per se, but a low grade film noir very cheaply made, done with mostly talk rather than action. This does not mean it is without merit with Mr. Buono turning in a fine performance.

I thought it was a well told slightly tongue-in-cheek horror/serial killer/exploitation flick.
Although it usually does, a cheaply made movie doesn't necessarily have to translate into a bad film.
I thought the killers motives were just a little cheesy though.
Sickly and elderly overbearing mother who strikes a remarkable resemblance to Grandma Walton and jealous for her son's attention, calls a lard-assed Victor Buono fat and tells him to stay away from the girls. So as a release, he moonlights his career as a lab technician by strangling nurses and 30 year old hot chicks who still work at penny arcades.
