Who else knew all along... (Spoiler Alert)

Who else knew all along (or suspected)...

...that Carol was the crazed killer? I mean as a little girl, she sees her mother hack 2 people to bits right in front of her. That's going to really mess a person up psychologically really bad. And she's having her mother wearing the same wig, the same dress, and the same jewelry that she wore when she committed the murders.

I just watched it for the first time. It was obvious from the beginning who the villain would be, and this became only clearer as the story proceeded.

I hope Robert Bloch was paid a hefty fee for this piece of garbage. It's the kind of script no serious screenwriter would want in their résumé. One wonders why Joan Crawford didn't buy all the prints and the negative, and burn them.

Loved the Pepsi product placement.

This movie sure was a spoiler for the later Berserk.

I just saw it for the first time, and I also assumed, early on, that it would turn out the way it did. This didn't ruin it for me though, because I was waiting to see how this would be revealed. It was actually a better film than I expected it to be, but then I'm also a fan of The Tingler which is another William Castle film.

Right away, you know it can't be Crawford. You wouldn't have a movie if that was the case. I wasn't surprised that it was Carol.

I didn't really suspect the daughter until about halfway through, when the doctor was killed, so I started to focus in on her actions after that but I thought I was wrong when we see the two Lucy's near the end. Then the unmasking. Pretty good film, Joan Crawford was actually very good and so was Diane Baker. 7/10
