Faye Dunaway in a remake

What a great opportunity to make millions. The movie would get huge publicity and Dunaway's star power would be instantly revived. Hollywood, are you listening?

Not a bad idea. I saw the original at the age of 9 and could not sleep for a month! HA! Any remake would have to have someone of Dunaway's aura, and as Faye was Joan Crawford's fave actress, it all makes sense.

Dunaway would be great in a re-make, but don't count on it. Faye has always maintained that playing Joan in MD was the biggest mistake of her career. Interviewers are warned not to mention Crawford or MD if they interview Faye.

How about Joan Collins in the re-make? She gets my vote.

She's already played the part, except with wire hangers instead of an axe.

You even bring this up to Faye Dunaway and she will chop your head off with an axe.

reply

I don't think Dunaway would be good casting beacuse she is still sexy enough to seduce her daughter's boyfriend in the movie. It wouldn't appear too shocking, or ridiculously funny as Crawford was.

A sequel. Dunaway As the baby Crawford had in the asylum, who emerges crazy. Diane Baker reprises her role as the big sister.

Good times. Oscars all around.

Dunaway has already started down the career road of B-horror movies: Chronicle of The Raven and Ghosts Never Sleep.

Cool.

I'd like Emma Stone in the Carol role and then Julianne Moore in the Lucy role.
