Congressman Witkowski...

...is clearly the best part of this dull film. Without his creepy phonecalls I don't think I could have made it through. I salute you, Carl Rogers.

Plus, he had a weird face so he fit right in!

I loved their jokes about how he resembled an old lesbian. "Your Father and I are worried about you, son." Hilarious. So his son flies a jet instead of a big bomber. Oh, no! The end of the world! Besides, he should be glad that annoying little offspring of his might get killed.

If you want to revisit the old man's helicopter parenting skills ... they have this episode up on hulu.com. If I had to watch this movie without the MST3k I'd commit ritual suicide.

How could you risk wasting time with the ritual? I'd just cut straight to the vein.

As I said in my review of this movie, I was in the Air Force for a 4 year tour and my parents didn't call me as much as this guy called. He was a congressman, so didn't he have legislation to vote on or sex scandals to get involved in?
