Is the Mr. Bongo release superior to Image's?

There is a new multi-region release of I Am Cuba available in the UK, and the advertisements for it that I've read in Sight and Sound (UK Magazine) say that it comes from a superior Spanish print. Has anyone seen the difference? Is Mr. Bongo's better than Image's?

According to DVDBeaver, Mr Bongo release is much better. However, I would like to know about the New US dvd compared to Mr Bongo (picture quality as well as if it is able to play without the Russian over the Spanish).
