Locations of car chase?

Does anyone recognize the locations of the final car chase? I visited Warner Brothers last October, 2009, and the mountains in the background of the chase scenes definitely look like the same mountains just to the east of the studio. You can see them from all over the lot. I also recognized the Warner small town square backlot when Henry Fonda comes out of the police station and Lauren Bacall was getting out of the car Fonda was getting into. Fun.
