Never looked more beautiful.

That's it, no more than that to say. Natalie Wood never looked more beautiful than in this film.

Well, there is no doubt that Natalie looked incredibly beautiful in Sex and the Single Girl. But she also looked amazing in The Great Race, This Property Is Condemned, Splendor In The Grass, Rebel Without A Cause, Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice, Gypsy, From Here To Eternity, Penelope.......darn, it's impossible to name a film in which Natalie did NOT look stunningly beautiful.

Even when Natalie tried to "dress down" in a movie like The Cracker Factory, she still managed to wow the audience with her grace and natural beauty. All the more compelling because Natalie never had a breast implant, tummy tuck, liposuction, lip injection, face lift, or any other sort of enhancement. Just the greatest natural beauty that ever appeared on a movie screen, or anywhere else for that matter.

Truly one of the most beautiful women (if not number one) in cinema of all time!

Natalie Wood was absolutely STUNNING. Without a doubt the most breathtaking woman I have ever seen on or off screen. And I do NOT exclude such bombshells as Sophia, Marylin, Raquel, and Bridgette. And the best thing is that hers was NOT a "debutante" type of beauty; she was much more the "girl next door" gal.

In fact, I think that she was the ultimate girl next door. And her sister Lana was pretty hot too.

most beautiful actress ever

In your opinion. The other person's opinion does not make them "Wrong".

I agree, I was surprised by how pretty she was in this film. Not that she's ever unattractive... She was just strikingly stunning in this movie.

I was 16 when this movie came out and was totally enamored with Ms Wood and Paula Prentiss. They still still set the standard for me.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it!

Though I would tend to agree with everything cosmicly has to say above, if you really pinned me down on this subject, my vote would be for "Penelope" as the film in which Natalie looked the greatest. Maybe it was the cinematography, or her spectacular wardrobe, but her close-ups alone carry that film through to the end. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous woman!

In my opinion, Natalie Wood is the most gorgeous actress of all time. So beautiful. I echo the OP's sentiments, although she was absolutely stunning in The Great Race as well.

Why she isn't top tier, iconic status like Mariyn Monroe or Audrey Hepburn is beyond me. Natalie outshines them all.

Cat face. Not appealing.

I don't know about that. Even though I'm a huge fan of Natalie, when Lauren Bacall was that age, she was absolutely stunning. Seeing the two of them together in this film was great.
