I heard that there going be a remake for this movie.

i heard talk about a remake a long long time ago with universal. i don't think anything ever materialized.

It better not happen, but how about Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore for the leads? They work very well together.

There is a movie with Burt Reynold called The End, it's very simular to this one

Yeah, and that was about as stupid as you can get for a plot. That had to be the low point in Sally Field's career.

Where are you going to find 3 actors with the chemistry of Day, Hudson, and Randall? Can't think of anyone today that could match them. I'll just watch the original, thank you very much.

Remakes too often miss the mark. TRUE GRIT wasn't a bad remake, nor was THE WOLFMAN, but most of them are sick imitations of the original.

Life, every now and then, behaves as though it had seen too many bad movies

Remake? No thanks. No one can replace Rock Hudson and Doris Day. Even not the great dialogues.
