HELP with similar movie!

This movie is about someone killing several models due to a childhood trauma in which his own mother tells him she's a prostitute. I remember watching this film back in the 80s, but I never got to see it again... does the plot ring any bells to you? Thanks in advance!

reply

I know this is a little late, but maybe it is Hatchet for a Hooneymoon, which is directed by Blood and Black Lace director - Mario Bava and has simillar style

The theater is like a faithful wife. The film is the great adventure, the costly, exacting mistress

reply

Thanks, but it's not HFAH. The movie I'm talking about is from the 80s and the killer isn't revealed until the end.

reply

Ummm... maybe The Crimes of the Black Cat, apparently also has a killer on the loose in a fashion house brutally murdering models, but I haven't seen it yet to tell you the truth.

reply

Mm.. nope, it's an 80s movie, but thanks again:)

reply

Sounds like the possible plot to a few movies from the 80s. Can you describe any of the murders or say at least which country was the movies origins?

reply

Ok..see, one of the murders is offscreen, but there's a sequence when all the models have a photo session near the beach, and when they leave, nobody notices the hand of a dead model sticking out of a huge rock.

reply

Coul it be Maniac by William Lustig ?

reply

Thanks, but it isn't Maniac. This movie isn't as gory and it seems it was made for TV, in terms of image quality.

reply

Could it be Delirium?

*Common sense is not so common

reply

No, it's not Delirium either, but thanks... the movie I'm talking about had a made-for-TV soap opera visual style. A very particular scene that shocked me for ages was during a photo session on the beach, and when the whole group left, nobody noticed a female hand protruding from a bunch of stones piled up. And the final scene with the killer revealing his identity, when he a as a nervous breakdown, confusing the female lead with his mother.
