MGM has announced a DVD of this film to be released on May 13th, 2008, along with an annual bunch of war and western films on DVD. Hopefully, the film will be presented in the original Panavision aspect ratio of 2:35-1.
shareExcellent news, been waiting a very long time for this one.Amazon.com list aspect ratio as 1.33:1 which is hopefully a mistake.There already seems to be a Spanish r2 dvd available but can`t find any sites that list if it`s widescreen.

shareIt is total hockum, isn't it? LOL! Compared to the other really hockum war flicks that were made overseas in the mid 60's like that one with David Jaekal and Robert Mitchum's son though, this one is well loved. I love seeing Mickey Rooney take on the pill box! Getting it on Amazon as soon as I finish this!
