A Very Enjoyable Film

Elvis Presley gives a good acting performance considering the somewhat slight script, and the rest of the cast does fine as well. The songs, while not among his best, are still catchy and well-performed. Also of note is the bright scenery and good-quality film stock (IMDb implies that's it's one-strip Technicolor).

Overall, a very enjoyable film and one which stands up on it's own, even with the flimsy plot.
